Spring fly-in
SUN ’n FUN Aerospace Expo
- April 6 to 11, 2027
- Lakeland, Florida (KLAL)
Florida’s big start to the air show season mixes flying displays with workshops, exhibitors, camping, and acres of visiting aircraft. It has the scale of a national event with the feel of a spring fly-in.

Great New England Air Show

- Westover ARB, Chicopee, Massachusetts
A rare chance to walk around heavy military aircraft and watch national demonstration teams without leaving New England. Westover’s enormous ramp and resident airlifters give the static display real scale.

New York Air Show
- August 28 to 29, 2027
- Orange County Airport, Montgomery, New York
Big formation teams and military demonstrations against the green ridges of the Hudson Valley. It is a manageable road trip from Boston and the compact airfield keeps the flying close to the crowd line.
